Terms & Conditions - Airport Transfers

1. Definitions

• Service: Private or shared airport transfer by car, minivan, or coach between an airport and a specified address (or vice versa).
• Booking: A confirmed reservation made through our website, app, phone, or authorised agent.
• Passenger: Any person travelling under the Booking.
• Flight Details: Flight number, scheduled arrival/departure time, and airport terminal provided by you at the time of booking.

2. Booking Process

2.1 Bookings can be made online, by phone, or via authorised partners.

2.2 A Booking is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation (e-mail, Whatsapp or SMS) containing a unique booking reference.

2.3 You must provide accurate passenger names, a contact mobile number, the flight number, and the pickup/drop-off address.

2.4 We reserve the right to refuse or cancel a Booking if incorrect or incomplete information is provided.

3. Prices and Payment

3.1 Prices are quoted in Euros and include VAT/sales tax where applicable, unless otherwise stated.

3.2 The quoted price is fixed for the route and vehicle type selected, provided the details you give us are accurate.

3.3 Payment is required at the time of booking unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

3.4 Accepted payment methods: credit/debit card, bank transfer or other methods shown at checkout.

3.5 Additional charges may apply for:

• Extra stops
• Child seats (if requested and available)
• Excess waiting time (see clause 6)
• Changes to the original Booking
• Night-time, public holiday, or peak-period surcharges (if applicable and notified at the time of booking)

4. Cancellations and Amendments

4.1 Cancellations by you:

• More than 24 hours before scheduled pickup: full refund (minus any non-refundable payment processing fees).
• Less than 24 hours before pickup or no-show: no refund.

4.2 Amendments (change of time, date, address, or number of passengers) are subject to availability and may incur an administration fee and/or price adjustment.

4.3 We may cancel a Booking due to circumstances beyond our control (see clause 9). In such cases we will offer a full refund or an alternative transfer where reasonably possible.

5. The Service

5.1 We will provide a suitable vehicle and professional driver for the booked journey.

5.2 Drivers will meet you at the agreed meeting point (usually arrivals hall or designated pickup area) holding a sign with your name or booking reference, unless otherwise arranged.

5.3 For flight arrivals we monitor flight status and adjust pickup time accordingly for delays of up to 60 minutes at no extra charge (subject to clause 6).

5.4 Shared transfers may involve intermediate stops and slightly longer journey times.

5.5 We do not guarantee a specific vehicle model or registration number.

6. Waiting Time and No-Shows

6.1 Free waiting time:

• Airport arrivals: 60 minutes from the actual landing time (or scheduled time if earlier).
• Other pickups: 15 minutes from the booked pickup time.

6.2 After the free waiting period, waiting time is charged at 10 euros per 15 minutes or part thereof.

6.3 If the passenger cannot be located after the free waiting time and reasonable attempts to contact have been made, the Booking will be treated as a no-show and no refund will be due.

7. Passenger Responsibilities

7.1 You must be ready at the agreed time and location.

7.2 You must ensure all passengers (including children) have valid travel documents and that any required child seats are requested in advance.

7.3 Behaviour that is abusive, dangerous, or illegal may result in the driver terminating the journey without refund.

7.4 Smoking, consumption of alcohol, or eating of strong-smelling food in the vehicle is not permitted unless expressly agreed.

8. Luggage

8.1 Standard luggage allowance is included in the price (typically 1 large suitcase + 1 piece of hand luggage per passenger).

8.2 Excess, oversized, or special luggage (sports equipment, musical instruments, wheelchairs, etc.) must be declared at the time of booking and may incur an extra charge or require a larger vehicle.

8.3 We are not liable for damage to luggage that is not properly packed or that exceeds the vehicle’s safe capacity.

9. Liability and Insurance

9.1 We maintain appropriate motor insurance and public liability insurance as required by law.

9.2 Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the price paid for the Booking, except in cases of death or personal injury caused by our negligence.

9.3 We are not liable for:

• Delays caused by traffic, weather, road closures, or flight disruptions
• Loss or damage to personal belongings left in the vehicle
• Indirect or consequential losses (including missed flights or connections)

9.4 You are responsible for ensuring you have adequate travel insurance.

10. Force Majeure

We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations where such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to extreme weather, natural disasters, strikes, terrorism, government actions, or major traffic incidents.

11. Complaints

Any complaint should be made in writing to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. within 14 days of the journey. We will acknowledge and investigate the complaint and respond within a reasonable time.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Portugal. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Funchal city, Madeira Island, Portugal.

14. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force at the time of your Booking will apply. The latest version is always available on our website.
